From a talent standpoint, Texas might have the most intriguing quarterback room in the country.
Quinn Ewers has been an excellent starter for the Longhorns this season, completing 70.7 percent of his passes for 3,161 yards with 21 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Behind Ewers on the depth chart is five-star freshman Arch Manning.
There has been so much hype surrounding him due to his skillset and family background.
During his media availability this Friday, Ewers was asked about Manning.
He made it very clear that he's a huge fan of the potential-packed freshman.
"Arch [Manning] is a great kid. It's cool to be in the same quarterback room as him,"
Ewers said. "His family has got a lot of great history, especially in this state.
He's learned a lot and has grown a lot this whole year. It's cool to see his growth."
Manning will eventually get the chance to show what he can do at Texas.
He just might have to wait one more year since there are rumblings about Ewers coming back for the 2024 season.
Texas will face Washington this upcoming Monday in the Sugar Bowl.
A win would mark the program's first appearance in a national title game since 2009.
